Death Listens

"Death isn't happy about the job he has to do. Sometimes he puts off the final moment as long as he possibly can. With patience and compassion, he stands and listens while the peasant plays his mother a parting tune on his fiddle. The white flowers in Death's hand may wither any moment. Even the dying mother lifts her gaze to see what is keeping Death."

Death Listens (mp3)

Play that old song,
play it, my son,
play it just once more.

Play that old song,
play it loud my son.
He's knocking on our door,
play it just once more.

Sing away my sickness,
Hum away the coldness.
Keep me out of darkness,
Give me my enlightenment.
(He's coming this way....
To take me away. [DEATH] )

Take me away.

"I'm not here to hurt you,
I came to end the pain.
I sit here with you mother,
We want to hear you play.

Your God is in a hurry,
He's waiting for her now,
(But) play that song once more,
Before I take her down."

Boy just keeps on playing,
to keep Death from leaving.
Mother gives up praying,
Finally she gives in.

Her gently on His arms,
Death starts to part.
But boy just keeps on playing,
playing to remember.

Play that old song,
play it loud my son.
Sing away my sickness,
Hum away the coldness.
Keep me out of darkness,
Give me my enlightenment.
Play that old song,
play it loud my son.

To keep me awake.
To keep me awake.
To keep me awake.
To keep me away.

En tiedä mikä miksausessa on vikana, vokaaleidet volumet pumppaa ja muutenkin aika tunkkainen. Joku kompressointi menny ketuilleen, kai.

Vanhuus

Kai se vanhuus tulee.
Tämäkin biisi lähti liikkeelle hillittömästä mättöriffistä, mutta päätyi kuitenkin jonkilaiseksi funkahtavaksi jazz-kermaksi.

Bullets

Toinen ääninäyte uudella kitaralla. Säröt on edelleen plugareista, kun en ole jaksanut V-amppia lyödä koneeseen kiinni.

Väsäsin pikaisesti tämmöisen ääninäytteen. Säröt on tehty ilmaisplugareilla.
